surfing is a way of life, it changes our perception about everything that surround us. photographs and incoherent thoughts of a lifestyle on the edge of europe
2013_01_19 - offshore playground

while the entire country was suffering from catastrophic howling winds and huge swells, a few found the perfect escape in some small little coves.
Jasper enjoying the offshore wind.
2012_08_11 - small summer days

a typical summer surf session for us.
only possible when the last rays of sunlight touch the beach. that's when the crowd goes to rest.
2012_07_22 - walking around

it doesn't matter where you are, once a day you need to step back and enjoy what surrounds you.
here, just feels better.
2012_07_15 - Jogi

beeing always a wonderful experience, I immediately said yes. only then, shamefully realeasing upon my arrival that it was his birthday!
Isabel and him made a wondeful typical japanese dish, with deserts and plenty of wine.
a gathering of 7 travel lovers from 5 different countries and, with ages between 30 and 70 years old.
amazing open minded people meeting in the end of this continent.
happy birthday Jogi.

2012_07 - what to think?
after much persuasion, my sis finally got a camera. not what I had in mind, her's has unlimited functions that give her the same result has I get with lots of time, hard thinking and a big dose of creativity.
she's learning camera history thru a vintage photography app. how to use filters with another app and a close result to true film photography with a different app.
apps for everything!
in the end, she's finally taking pictures, keeping stored her daily stories!
2012_07_08 - little bro
my brother was in town for a short little visit, and what a visit it was!
waterpark, coffees , barbecues, beers, surf, outstanding meals provided by our sister, motorcycle rides and a lot more! but true to the portuguese reputation, we mainly ate and drank!
without a doubt an amazing quality family time.
