this weekend I saw old friends and met new ones. but would like to share an interesting guy that made the prize statues. Luís Ribeiro made this amazing fins, now I got really curious to see his wood surfboards.

2012_06_24 - mighty cosmic it was
as expected, it was an amazing gathering with something similiar to a competition!
there were a couple of outstanding details that made it such a cool experience, one of them was the random selection of the board you were going to use... all different, all old, all difficult to ride!
a special thank you to the organization and the sponsors, who gave amazing prizes, like for example a really cool Lufi thruster for the shortboard winner (provided by himself) and for the longboard a top of the line Gul Original wetsuit. Along with some surf acessories for the top athletes, this was sponsored by kavanusurf.com.
everybody got really cool t-shirts of the event that Surf Planet Sagres Surf Shop kindly gave.

Neste fim-de-semana de 23 e 24 de Julho decorreu a 3ª etapa do Circuito Surf Algarve na Praia do Amado, com uma excelente companhia, comemos, rimo-nos e dormimos como reis. Acordámos para um surf matinal e mais um dia repleto de bons momentos.
À muito que não tinha um serão assim.
2011_07_09 - Amado sem querer cooperar
Num dia cheio de imprevistos, uma curta sessão com João "Furas" Verissimo na praia do Amado.
Correntes fortes, picos incertos e fortes quebras em banco de areia... um dia com péssimas condições, grande esforço físico e os resultados pretendidos não foram atingidos.
